ABOUT OUR BRANCH

A Message from the Past President
 
I want to welcome all our members and guests to our website. Browse through the different sections and see what we have to offer. If there is something you think should be added please contact us.

 

The Royal Canadian Legion helps and supports, veterans and their dependants, current serving members of the Armed Forces, and the surrounding communities.

I want to send a special thank you to The Ladies Auxiliary for all they do for our Branch and the community.

 

Branch # 04 offers a multitude of activities such as bingo, crib, forty fives, bridge, duplicate bridge, pool, darts, washer toss, shuffleboard.

 

Friday nights we have TGIF dinner, bingo and dance everyone is welcome. We have live bands for your enjoyment on Friday and Saturday night.

 

 I want to personally invite all our members and guests to come in and participate in our sports and dances and see our new look in our main hall.

The monthly calendar is available on this site or drop by the Branch and pick up a copy so you will not miss your favorite function.

 

The Branch also caters to several functions such as weddings, birthday parties, anniversary’s and retirement parties, and seasonal dinners and banquets for any occasion.

Call ahead check our prices and menu. Book your date so you won’t be disappointed.

 

We are a non for profit membership club and are looking for new members to carry the torch into the future. If you want to help our veterans and support your community consider the Legion. Members must be of legal age 19 yrs. Plus

 

There are several committees throughout our Branch that need volunteers to help so if you’re a member or a non-member that can support our committees please contact the office at 460-8732.

 

We are also looking for someone to volunteer to do general office duties and to take minutes at meetings so if you have these skills and want to support the Legion please contact the office.

To this day, even with numerous changes over the years, including the adoption of our current name, The Royal Canadian Legion has never faltered in our efforts to improve the lives of Veterans, ex-service members and their families. It has been our principal objective since day one, and we will continue to work for it every day forward.
